Nice update! Congratulations on the little one!!!

Congrats on your baby girl! Great progress on the car man, keep it up!

However, I do have one thing to say.... 5 SPEED TRANS!!

Sooooo I took out the head liner and and all the trunk trim and trim basically everywhere besides the front of the car witch has been redone!

Still waiting on my steering wheel from the uk... Ugh...

As for everything else the fez got me the clip for my vent and the washer for my crank windows these are yet to come as well... But I am sure they will be here soon!

Now for what I have been doing... Sanded and repainted my windshield wiper hooks and replace the plastic that covers where the cabin air comes in. It is black again and not white ash. I could post pics of this, but why

Basically doing a deep clean and buying time till I can get to the sand blasting place and get the GS brake assembly de-rusted. All the bolts are off my car with little to no problem!

Carpet to come up next, with touch up sanding met with some paint to seal. Set a date with my buddy to fix up my seats. Once the deep cleaning is done I will put the back all together, plastic is cleaning very well. New headliner will go in as well.

I hopeing to be in driving shape by end of sept! Just enough time to drive it over and maybe get the rust rocker panel done before winter storage!

My euro steering wheel is lost in the mail, Lori Carlyle is sending me another he is rally a stand up guy.

Bought a ton of crap from whitefinish again, yet to be shipped but... I got glass headlights, clear side, and a front euro lip. Everything I have got from him has came no problem! So not worried about it getting to me... Ok mostly not worried...

The fez is yet to send me crank washers and clip... He is busy with life so I understand I hope he gets it out soon!

Bought a corksport type one rear strut bar for almost 50% off! Great deal for a great product!


So next week seats are getting redone with the OEM covers brand new. Hope it will look good, also going to black fabric on the head liner. Rear sub frame sand blasting should be done this coming weekend or the next. Once this all gets done then we will be in the biz and the car will be rocking soon!

I swear to have this car driving by end of this month I want to be able to drive it to storage not tow it.

I know how you feel to want to drive your car before you have to store it cause I have yet to get mine on the road.
I'm having a hard time sleeping at night...
Hopefully we will both have decent dry weather in October is all say.

well we are in October now!!! rear disk brake swap is done!!! everyone remembers this right??? i got it from gary(gaune)...



well this is what i did with it!!! i love sand blasting...





so now with that on, new rortors and pads all the way around, thanks to arnold(kulluminati777) for the front set!






tires are back on now i just getting the rest of the e-brake lines off, i will put GS ones one I source some... Also putting new euro headlights on...

Either way major progress!!!
