I don't know if anyones mentioined this already but what do you think about doing CF spark plug hole covers? It would be a relatively easy product since it's basically just straight? Just a though.

I might be in for a set of spark plug covers, that actually sounds good to me. I was thinking of making a set out of Aluminum myself, but I like the idea of CF better than aluminum for that.

How about a shaped coolant overflow tank?(burp tank), that would have a lower profile and still allow functional use? Idk how well CF holds up to constant exposure to propylene glycol, but I figure it would be nice to get the ugly stock tank out of there. :D

I would be in for anything that would save weight. I would also have it done in just FG, to save a few bucks.

Spark plug covers would look cool, but I would have to figure out how to hold them down. The v-6, if I can make a cover work would only be for the front bank valve cover.

I forgot how high stock plug wires stick up... I'll need to take that into account when I modify my 8.5mm wires. :welder:

Mounting could be tough, for a one off job I would just weld 2 threaded bungs onto the VC itself, and bolt it down lightly. Others may not be so happy to weld in their engine bay though... :freak:

Its easy to do yourself. You can buy flat pre hardened pieces of carbon fiber in most any length and width for next to nothing depending on the thickness you want and then just dremel the shape. buy a couple of studs for the center two valve cover bolts and you are good to go.

I think a coilpack mounting bracket would be cool, but few MX-3 owners would buy one... :(

How about these in carbon fiber?
Handbrake handle
Battery tie-down
Shift knob(MX-3 design of some sort?)
Rearview mirror(not a cover, but an actual 2 piece mirror, minus the glass) - If you put a piece of angled plastic around the black portion of your mirrors btw, you can direct moisture down and away from the glass, 100% avoiding the issue of it rusting around the edges.
A front license plate mount would be nice too.
