Yes Derrick is a real person lol - he's the one I usually deal with when I get parts and he's been a at a few races in the Mazda 2.

$199 seems like a fair price, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes up a little. And I'd be surprised if it went down at all.

I don't like the word " roughly"

If we commit to buying x pieces. He should give 1 price. No surprises

im sure once he makes one then he will want a commitment on buying one and i only think once its made will we know for sure but 199 i would buy that for a once in a lifetime product..maybe even 250, i spent more on my XBOX and i played it maybe 10x before it broke and bought a PS3...this is something that will last the life of your car.

And as far as 199 goes most if not all there other sway bars go for that price and we are also asking them to just whip up a product for the community

the only point was to eliminate understeer and the obvious sway of the car but there really is nothing else, If your just into daily driving then this is not for you but if you race or auto x or something like that im sure it will improve lap times

Would you guys be willing to pay up front if corksport wanted?

and this is the list i have as interested:
-me
-Mooneggs x2
-Mrmazda92, ill pay half of the bar and he is the test car
-Josh x2 depending on price
-Whitefinish depending on price
-weede_klze
-blaze93gs
-Thefez

That puts us at roughly ten bars (if josh and moon get 2) so we are halfway there :2thumbsup: :2thumbsup: :2thumbsup:

-I am in the works of asking the german community if they are intrested and a few are but i will add there name to the list once i get a for sure yes.

-I asked the UK community but no one there wants one :(

-Is anyone on here on clubprotege? would the front gs bar fit 323's and proteges over on that site?

Im just trying to build a rock solid case to take to corksport so they can begin production on these, im half way too 20 and i bet thats the number the choose because they thought i wouldnt be able to do it but i think if i can get a real price more people will want one...

OK, so for 200 bucks what would be included with this bar?

Questions I have would be:

- solid or hollow?
- raw steel or powder coated?
- end links included?

for 200 bucks in a group buy of 20 I would expect them to be powder coated with end links. But whether they are hollow or solid will make the difference in me purchasing one or not. @ 200 i will only buy one. if they come down to more like 150 I could probably swing 2.

I would also prefer they provide polyurethane bushings like the ones that come with the whiteline. This is more important to me than endlinks UNLESS the endlinks are different from stock? not sure why they would be...

Good questions guys! I'm curious myself, but I'll pay up front for the finished product, so long as pricing doesn't exceed estimates by more than $100 without good cause.

:)

I want this!!
