I changed my thermostat to a 160 degree from a proobe and have raced in 117 degree heat in medford oregon and never a problem, also i swear by the stuff add redline oil water wetter. Also try running a different mixture like 70% water and 30% coolant will also help.

What rads are you guys using.... I am putting together a list to look at when I go junk yard hunting..

I'll change the rad out eventually I am not in any rush to fix anything...
