You can shift clutchless in synchromesh transmissions. You just have to get the RPM's right. Pull it lightly into gear, not so hard that it grinds, but when the RPM's fall past that point, it will just slip in. It will be harder with these cars because of the light flywheel/quick rpm's, but it is still possible. My mother's sentra has about a 1000 lb flywheel and it does clutchless very nicely, except 4th gear.
