Be sure to search any mod you're not completely sure about!
Tire pressure makes a difference, too. I SUCK at launching, and don't practice, but lowering my tire pressure helped. Do a few launches after lowering the pressure, and see if either wheel spins more than the other, and lower the pressure of that wheel a little at a time, until they lose traction more equally.

You don't wanna go too low cause then your 1/4 time suffers.

yes i am running 15psi i believe.
it helped alot with the wheel spin.
but i think i could up it a little bit
