Do the 2.5 headers fit the K8 engine ? Let me know wich headers you are going to put , ok ?
Yes they do fit Here are a few pics of them bolted to my engine. You will need to move the catalytic converter back a few inches.. but any exaust shop can do that if you cant cut & weld on your own.
The headers I chose are Hotshot Headers. They are ceramic coated.. so they will retain heat better.. keeping your engine bay cooler. There are several different threads about headers.. a search will turn up other brands. The Hotshots are not cheap though.. about twice as much as the other brands available.

No I got the headers from RR Racing.. but they have stopped carrying the Hotshot Headers.. You might have to buy them direct from Hotshot.. searching around on Google might find another retailer though.
I am hoping to see an average of 28-29 mpg between city & hiway driving on my K8 when all is said and done.. I am sure a lot of it will be how I drive. I am currently used to a utterly gutless 1.6L ATX RS car as my daily commuter. What will happen when I have a 5 spd and and extra 20 - 25 whp to play with?

Yeah... I'll be having fun for a while I am sure LOL But eventually.. I'll get decent gas mileage LOL
