Mxtacy wrote:Yeah guys if you can gain power off a single header on a 4 cyl why couldnt you on a v6 aswell? Honda guys are paying upwards of 1500 bux for rage,hytech,smsp,rmf,anr and full race headers so how is 250 a bad deal? You guys need to shut the f--- up and go do some research before you start yapping about s--- you dont know. As for the deal klzekillerchris i say u made out alright, try and find the other half if you can and go for it if not it might be a little harder to adapt one stock and oneheader but you will def notice some gains without a doubt.
Well 1st off:
1. This isn’t a Honda forum.
2 this isn’t a 4cyl forum. We have 2 banks Not 1
3.the guys that are posting on here are reputable guys within the mx3 community and most of them are known for doing stuff right the 1st time. I guess your right and all the engineers were wrong, lets have one side breathe freely and the other not. Rebel has already stated it wont hurt his motor but is probably not a good idea.
Mxtacy wrote:Where did i anywhere state that i could get 50 whp?
Also your sticker comment goes without saying.... I remember hearing that being said like 9 years ago.
Ps. I'm quite glad your done with this thread i was tired of listening to your dumbass anyways. To the op do what you want you will notice gains. But not very much, regardless of what captain tunes67 says it will be better then stock so i'd say go for it.
Also I suggest you control your attitude and language on this forum, especially since your a new member. Everyone in this topic was pretty much suggesting that he got ripped off, some yes said it harshly, but there comments were meaningful yours were not. To be honest I would trust their comments over yours since your saying its OK to run 1 header on 1 bank. That’s not doing things right that’s called doing things RICE. And if you don’t believe so then read up on the subject:

Now for everyone else, I know this was an off the wall bazaar noob question and allot of you guys are fed up with stuff like this appearing on the forums, but we need to control our comments towards the new guys and try and help them out as they are new and we all were at one point. If their questions piss you off just don’t comment. If it’s a noob question Not answering it will probably make them SEARCH anyway which as we all know for most question is the best solution as most problems or questions have been answered in some way on this forum. So lets just try and chill out on the noobs, even though they can be fun to bash.

klzekillerchris wrote:He's calling on the other header tomorrow for me! I can't wait... He has a set of 19" rims I am buying also so now I won't spin with the extra hp I get from the headers. He has a set of 215/35/18's he is going to sell me with the 19" rims he says I can squeeze them on without a problem.
So within the next week my car is going to be wicked fast with custom greddy headers and a pimped a-- set of 19" wheels.
Chris, your a bit new to the car stuff, 215/35/R18 will not
fit on 19 inch rim's sorry.
215 = tire width
35 = profile aspect
R18 = rim size to be used!

This thread has got completely out of hand. Simple respectfull responses is all that is required. If there are obvious glaring issues surrounding the topic or posters, than that too should be addressed. If there appears to be a case that it's a new member asking a real left field question, don't jump all over the situation. Respectfully advise the member or direct him/her to links that you can provide that will clearly explain the situation or clear up some percieved missconceptions. I'm not quite sure if "klzekillerchris" or "Mxtacy" are familiar with the nuances or even the basics of general engine dynamics, or in fact are playing the rest of the membership on. Whatever the reason, the apparent mood, tone and smell of this thread is not positive, productive or beneficial in it's current path. There were some very valid posts that were presented by very reputable members that were unheeded and I don't forsee this thread going much further.
