Starting to get a little worried about this group buy thing?No one has heard from this guy yet,Maybe buying it of the E-bay is the safe way to go for now?Just wish the price would be a little lower,would cost me close to i think $500.00 with shipping to Canada.

lets try not to over react here. Let the weekend pass and see what happens. This is only a few days old and really in its infancy.
I will never buy an ebay item where the seller clearly jacks up shipping like that. It should not cost more than 20-30 to ship up to Canada... that being said, that seller is a crook.

ray what type hid's work with the headlights just for future reference for the people just getting the headlights

H1 HID kits will works fine with the headlight.
i will see if any forum member who has a high reputation on the site can do a test fit.
These is running at 230 with no HID now.

As Ray as stated, I spoke to him earlier today on the phone number on the spyder auto site. I explained to him why we are all so cautious about another GB because of so many failed ones in our past. He said he would send out a set to Barry or another high ranking Mod so they can see them first hand and give their feedback on them for the rest of us.

He also said that if there was a member close to where he is that is interested in installing the black housing lights to show the fit and light output, they could arrange it. It seems that the guy that initially had them installed on his car for the test fit before they made the adjustments, just disappeared after he got a set of the chrome revised lights. He was supposed to get pics and comment on the fitment and now he is nowhere to be found by the company.

Spyder auto is the mother company and in direct contact with the company that makes the lights and then they wholesale to other companies. Those companies, like the one on ebay, increase the price to make a profit also. Since there is technically no middle man, Spyder can sell them cheaper and still make a profit on the product without gouging the customers.

As off right now, I do trust that this is not a scam. He said that he will try to answer all questions we have as soon as he can. The thing we have to remember is that he is a business that has a store front and although customers do buy stuff through the internet, they have to take care off their wholesale customers too and can't be on here as much as we would like. He also said that he is looking forward to talking to Barry or Jeff, so guys, if you can send him your contact numbers, he would be happy to talk to you guys about this and the potential GB.

Thanks, Jeff, that really helps a lot. I understand people would rather see it on one of the high reputation forum member's mx3. i will try to arrange that and if people have anyone that recommend, let me know, i could get this out asap. Once again, hopefully after a mod or admin finish all the installation, more people will jump in the deal so i can get a greater discount. I will contact the mod or Jeff first before doing any transaction involve people's money. Hope everything works great and you guys will enjoy the product.
