Im looking to drive daily soon and maybe take a road trip. Im 31 years old and I dont want to lose my hearing.

Im looking to run a Vibrant Performance Bottle Style Resonator and A High Flow Cat. I understand it wont be immensely quiet, as I dont want to restrict flow and lose power.

I just need someone to validate my approach. Is this a decent set up? Im looking to purchase these 2.5" in diameter.

Can someone please advise, me. Thanks!

I ran straight catless with my OBX headers, no resonator and a magnaflow with a 4" tip, it was frigging race car loud, like crazy, even trying to be quiet I was loud, no joke. Put in a magnaflow highflow cat and it turned into a superb sounding quiet, unique sounding exhaust. From my experience and theory, you'll only need a resonator is you're running a dual-tip muffler, those are the one that cause the droning.

Well I got to say, just had my exhaust redone with the stock logs back on and wow does it sound much better!!! :D
Deeper sound, more tone much like the original 1.8L V6 sound and no rasp!! Sweet 6 cylinder eargasmic music!! The ZE purrs like supra with the stock logs...
Butt dyno feels a lot stronger in the low and mid range as well.
I rarely drive over 100 mph, so this is where I favor my powerband anyways.
Everyone has there opinion on what a great sounding exhaust sounds like, but I always liked the 1.8L sound and I have confirmed this can be achieved with a ZE running stock logs...
