Its been a while since I updated the worklog.
Here is the crack on the inside of the case...from all the trans fun:
Then I finally took the suspension off the "Bucket" and put it on. I also got rid of the 16's and got a set of 17's.
The struts:
The springs(intrax)
And now how she sits.
From this....
The trans still has to come out, but I'm waiting on my ACT clutch kit to arrive....

How much did you lower it?

It only went down about 1 3/4 inches with the 17's. My measurements are all out of wack. I measured the fender to ground clearance...but with the 16's. I then measured it again with the spring/shock combo and 17's. It was just shy of 1 3/4 inches. Since they are used, I don't see it sagging anymore. I like the way it looks...its a little stiff....but I had 4 blown struts. You could push the car down a few times and get it to hit the bump stops....or whatever was left of them.

ACT clutch is in and the trans leak/crack is fixed!! The pedal pressure from stock/OE replacement to the ACT is completely different. ACT say the clutch pedal will be moderate....

Well, its pretty dang stiff. Its nice knowing its not going to slip...but I hope I dont get caught in traffic
Its a little late in the season...but now I'm on to tackling the a/c.

Oh and the local "Brake Specialist" here by my shop broke the driver side window switch. It was going to break eventually, but they had it when it died. I have done plenty of business with them in the last year. After picking up my car from being aligned, I called the manager to let him know what happened. The next day he calls, Brake Specialist bought me a brand new OEM Mazda window switch

Now that's good business.

$280 is retail. They probably got it for around $220ish.
The switches are so nice and tight

, the auto-down works and now the lockout on the passenger side works.

Here is how she sits this morning..with the new exhaust I made
I still need to swap the rear bumper from the bucket and paint it. Once I get my mini sides and GS front lip, I should be done with the outside for a while.

I hated that, I just disabled it. I would of used it for something, if it wasn't in the worst and most annoying spot to be constantly tripped.

Yea, it didn't work with the old switch. I like using it ever once in a while......when my girlfriend pisses me off. *fart* Her-"What was that noise??" Me-"Nothin...." Priceless.

Well I don't do stuff like that, plus I didn't drive kids around, so don't have to disable it, and if anyone is drunk and playing around with it, they're in the passenger seat, so close enough to give them a smack. With the truck bein 4-doors, I've had to do it a few times.
That switch for the Mx-3 was just annoying cause I'd always hit it off, and passengers would be constantly asking me to unlock the control, so I just disabled it.
