Clean stock is the way to go. Nice ride. Don't mess it up.

stock, Mazda speed style, then B-2. Nothing else. Drifter is drap, too chunky and too low. The shogun/ag style is played out. Might as well get the lambo doors to while your at it.

Some of the UK/German kits look sweet, but I would not want to have to pay for the kits and shipping.

I'd say most of us whom have kits, have the MS style.

I would also go for Mazdaspeed or JDM stock...
My first preference would be the JDM front bumper, front lip & full-length sides with the raised spoiler, or wraparound spoiler. My 2nd preference would be the Mazdaspeed front bumper with the USDM full-length sides, I think... and then of course, the Mazdaspeed spoiler & hatch garnish.

Here's some pics to show some of the things I'm talking about...

If you look around a few worklogs, you'll see some nice kits using OEM parts, and some well executed aftermarket kits also. At the end of the day, it is your car & therefore entirely your choice what to do with it. In my highly biased opinion, though, for a car that looks as tidy as yours, nothing beats OEM kits & parts ;)

Oh, and another front bumper I love:

Never seen it on a car, and nor do I know how to find one, but it looks well cool! Haha

+ mazdaspeed. 99% of the bodykits ive seen on the mx3 are super tacky. stock with all the body options is definitely the way to go. btw i love that blue colour. i first thought it was horrible but over the years its grown on me huge. read peoples worklogs for ideas on what you can do with your car. at the end of the day its your car and should suit your tastes. if you do decide to go with a body kit try and think of how you would like the kit a few years down the road or how it would affect resale value before you invest the $1000+ for a kit and paint...

Same here! I when I bought the car, I told myself that the color was one of the first things to change. But now, it has grown on me just like the previous owner. I just think that if you own a mx3 with this color, you are going to fall for it. And for the ones reading this and saying "No" own one this color or be around one enough and it will get to you too. Lol

Performance first I always say. Go with suspension, coilovers. Slam it down on stock body. Changes the look of the entire car.

Well I have my intake pulled off right now bc my thermostat housing gasket decided to blow that goes between the housing and a water shaft that runs under the fuelrails. I can't reach the bolts to take the housing off. It kinda sucks bc the engine is so tight but I'll take that for the power it puts out lol. After I fully tune it, I'm goin to put it on the chasis dyno at my shop and see what numbers it will pull. I'll put it on here once it is done. I think I might start a work log too.

stay with oem your car is in too good of shape to have a junk bumper on it spend your money on rims or some visors lowering springs first

Well all of my body/interior mods are on hold right now. I took off my intake to gain access to some bolts on my thermostat housing and came to discover that I had ANTIFREEZE sitting on my valves! BLOWN HEAD GASKET!!! So now I have to pull my engine and tear it down to send my heads off to be machined. while I'm at it I might rebuild my transmission while waiting on the machine shop.this is going to be about a $300-$400 fix just on the engine.this is going to suck! (the money)

Bingo, why fix up a broken motor when swapping one in is so easy? Especially because there is a good chance you'll want to swap in a better motor in the future anyway.

i dont think your head is blown, its probably when you took the intake off, there is a thermostat hose which pours coolant right in that area
