Wanted to ask this really quickly. Right now I am installing new wires and spark plug wires.

Actually 2 questions...

1) The correct firing order is from left to right --- 1 top 2 bottom 3 top 4 bottom 5 top 6 bottom (also right beside disty) correct?

2) My car wouldnt start today... at all... which I've never had a problem with until after I cleaned the throttle body. Would adjusting the screw on top help? I know I should be more technical but Im not good at that stuff. I will let yall know what happens. I bought NGK plugs XD :) They should be better. Also as far as the car not starting. I checked all the plugs and they all had gasoline on them. Im gussing my next best bet would be to replace the disty? :( Hopefully it is crappy wires... like i said i will let yall know in about an hour.

Oh and Ryan....

I will check the timing next before disty. I appreciate your advice. It is my next step. I just read your comments after buying the wires so... hopefully I wont need to do your step.

Dan.

The Cap checked out ok. No problems. I took it to a mechanic before you mentioned it and he looked at it and said it was ok. I filed it down just barily on the tips... and by barily I just mean swish swish and it shines. Thats what he said anyways, make sure there was no oxidization on the tips.

Alright...

The firing order checks out. The Car appears to run smoother than when I purchased it... except for the fact that I changed a bunch of crap and now my idle is out of whack. What I mean is that when I come to a hard break to cuts off because of the energy use and shifting at a stop. After it warms up the idle is now at about 50rpms... and it always dies... no doubt. What should I look up to fix the right amount of tension on the wire that goes to the acceleration pedal, and how many turns should the screw be at on the throttle body?

I just thought of it now but should i get the car warmed up really good and adjust the idle control nuts. Then lastly fix the screw on top of the throttle body assembly? I have to adjust it because I messed with it when I cleaned it and I dont know what it was at.

Just be glad being a mechanic is a hobby and not my real job because i suck at it haha.

Edit-

Just looked it up... i did it wrong... I should have messed with the idle control screw FIRST not last.... duuuuuurrrr.
So it says in the manual the deflection needs to be 1-3mm and then adjust the screw. What would be the best way to modify it back to normal at this point?

Also on this page (http://mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php?fil ... B2-035.gif ) it shows 2 cable on the throttle body... I only have 1... is that just the second position it can be or a different model?
