Yeah, I'm on it, but I may not get it all, I have to leave shortly.

Deleting as much spam as I can.....
We need to implement captcha for new members and possibly post approval also.

Yup. Captcha is not as efficient as it used to be, but post approval is becoming a necessity. It gets really frustrating, to have to report dozens of post from a single spammer. :(

Deleting if fine but ineffective if we don't block their IP.

Jeff implemented a few systems.
I have increased the time between posts from 15 seconds, to 60 seconds
I have enabled Admin account registration option, instead of the users own email account.
Increased the new user post limit to 5, so these will have to be approved, before they go public. If it is a legit posting, the user will most likely reach out to get it approved.
The registration process does have CAPTCHA enabled.

I have also pruned all user accounts from the system that have registered AFTER October 25th, 2011, and had 0 posts.

So it should settle down.

Spent another 30m deleting crap this morning.

Funny one with a picture of a dog humping a chicken, that was entertaining.

But yeah, some 60-odd posts...

What if we ban all IP's from Malaysia? Any members from there..... ever?

I'm going to start recording these IP's to see if there is a pattern...

Thanks to all those who reported stuff
