So this could be like an after Xmas special. In my mind there's usually 2 prices. The price we'd like to get and yes that's a good price. Then there's the price that will sell the car without having to wait for a year.
In Canada my guess would be $5,000 down to $4500 if you want the car sold. $6-7000 could take some time and may involve advertising it at another show. The problem I had when I bough John's was the insurance company not willing to insure it for value just black book so if it's in a accident I loose 50% of my investment right off the top. Anyway, that's one sweet looking ride. Any thoughts of parting it out.
not sure yet how it works in canada since i just moved there but places like AAA in the states have special insurance for custom built cars that will give you much closer to the money you put in for it
AAA eh, I'll look into that. Maybe CAA has something equivalent. If anyone knows of an Insurance Company here in Canada that will accommodate then please PM me. Apologize for hijacking your thread. Thanks

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
The company I use for insurance is called Garretts, they have a whole sections just for modified cars and they insure for the value of the car. It only costa a little more than regular insurance but as the car is listed as a show car, I cannot go over 3500 miles in a year or I void my warranty. I know they also have insurance for race cars and things like that. Value is determined my listing of modifications and cost to replace those. I have used them for several years, I know that Geico has been trying to set up a division that does the same thing, but I don't know if they got it off the ground yet.

Who are you????
Elvis is a great guy that has built a great car and I have been seriously talking to him about getting his car........The price had not been on page one as it took him a wile to total up what he needed for the car.
We all want to be fast and look cool. Cool changes but fast never does.
you guys are spoiled cause I took this car to any and every car show in the area for the last 8+ years, even when she was still black. I always wanted to take it to a MX-3 meet.

Who am I? I'm the guy who looked at page 1. Do you know who you are?
Honestly I don't want to sell it, but I am getting to the point where I have too, so I offered it to a few friends who I knew would appreciate it and I put on here cause well this is a forum of people that know how to appreciate this car obviously. Eventually if the car does not get picked up I will have to put it on the open market. I know I can sell the car, but I would rather sell it to someone I know will really appreciate her. I know everyone on this forum can understand that.
Hey RS_OBD'oh_2

Btw wicked just wanted to say I love your car, its half the reson I commited to getting an RS spoiler finally after seeing how nice it looks on a properly done car.
