a lil off topic but do any of you know if the alternator recall is good for life? i can use a new one

haha yes all recalls are good for life unless theyve already been done to the car

there is no way to check a vin online about the recall is there (no mazda dealer for 175 km)

but you could always call the dealer and have them check real fast for you

Just so yo know... The dealer will say they already did it, to get out of doing it.
So, if you know it had not been done.... Be VERY firm that it needs to be done.
