That center post on the disty means he did an HEI mod. Do you see an external coil.(cylindrical with a wire going to your disty) That metal line coming from the from of the valve cover is just a vent line. My 2c

well how do I jump the TEN? like, what do I do to make the engine light flash? Because I really need to get my idle to stop surging...its burning extra gas and is really annoying :(

You take a piece of wire (many use a paper clip) and jump TEN and ground.

No no, I know what to use, but where? like which little hole do I put each end of the paper clip in? thats what im asking.
maybe take the pic i posted of the diagnosis box, and label where i need to put the clip? would really help so I could get this fixed :)

I can appreciate you trying here but it is a little painful for us. lol Look at the inside of the cap and you'll see each plug in labeled. Just stick the wire into the TEN and then stick it into the GND. Turn your ignition switch to ACC. and your light will start to flash.

PS I've been to San D many times. Got lost in the barrio once and almost s--- myself when some hommes came to see why I was there. They explained the way back to the docks and sent me on my way. To say I wasn't very fly for a white guy would of been an under statement that day. :lol:

Mk, so there is small labels on the underside of the diagnosis cap? ill go check that, and see if I can find out what you guys are talking about. im at work, but Ill see if I can find some time to go do what yall are talkin bout.
