Depending on the inner diameter of the exhaust it may or may not have been worth it. Generally with a KL-ZE you'll want to run a larger exhaust, but if this carbon fiber exhaust is already too large for your K8 it may be just right for the ZE.

Define performance chip??

Nothing is stopping you from modding your k8, but if you really have a true carbon fiber full exhaust.. for the money you have spent.. you could have gotten an klde that comes from an mx6 or probe gt and made a ton of more power of the line. If you can beat those cars now.. imagine leaving them WAY WAY begind at the track or at the street :D its priceless!

You mean the WHOOOLE system, including headers, all the piping, EVERYTHING???

Can you post a linkto the manufacturers of that system? Or pictures?

I have seen mufflers with a carbon fiber case, but the whole system...if you don't mind me saying...I'm very skeptical. Not even Formula 1 cars have CF exhausts.

I would send some pics but have no camera at the moment... And I dont know how to put pics on here anyway... But no, just the exhaust piping is carbon fiber, not everything straight from the exhaust and out... My dad works with making carbon fiber things and just made me a carbon fiber exhaust system and a 5 and a half inch muffler too... Pretty sweet. But I just want a chip now...

I've never seen CF for exhaust piping, not even on race cars..

You can't have a chip that doesn't exist.

I ate a whole bag of salt and vinegar chips in my car, made it slower or didnt make a diff whatever.... Thats what those ebay chips do! You should also check out the electric supercharger! I would like to welcome you to the site, and remember this about these guys; Pics or it doesn't exist! I have about every bolton you can get for the K8, and maybe I freed up 8 horsies. KLDE is a cost effective alternative to worthless mods, and a KLZE will knock your socks off bud.

I have custom carbon fiber pistons on my second project car... it also uses compressed air from 2liter soda bottles to increase intake pressure. Some may recall this beast... This is before I could afford the electric supercharger. I cant WAIT to get it!

PS. welcome to the boards... don't be alarmed by sarcasm :)

Can you tell me where can I get those pistons?
I think they'd work perfectly with my aluminum crankshaft, and carbon fiber turbo.

Sarcasm? What sarcasm?
