yes I will be getting rockband when I can buy the drums separate... I've got 2 guitars now so I just need the drums...

I'm glad the orange shag carpet made it into this thread - I think it belongs here :D

I finally played Guitar Hero, and it was pretty fun. Then I played the band one... That was better! I am a drummer, and play guitar (just to impress girls). I really like the drum part on the Rock band version. It's a little weird playing exactly how the want you to, since I love to syncopate, and improvise (I played most recently in a jump blues band). They should make a "pro" version where you make your own songs, or they rate your improvisation on existing songs. I'm usually too busy for video games, but I could get into "Rock Band".

yeah after I beat medium and started on hard I had to change my style of playing... up until that point I was only pressing down on the "string trigger"... I had to restart back at easy trying to learn how to press it up and down instead of just down... now I have excelled! this re-learning is highly recommended! :o

holy crap, mooneggs, that's the best idea ever!

I've been working on expert, but I never learned using the hammer both up and down, but it's so freaking hard to learn on hard/expert.

I am going to have to take that idea and RUN with it... although, I think I'll practice it on medium... easy makes my ears burn off.

oh boy... my roommate just bought rockband thursday... today I am stuck on level 47 on expert(guitar) :D

I find this game not as difficult on guitar - maybe because they don't have all those crazy mad solos... anyways we are enjoying "jamming"... my girlfriend even lent her skill at singing :D

what a great game to bring people together lol

well I was so excited this weekend... a while ago my PS2 decided to scratch all my GH games and it is has been rough trying to play songs without it skipping (imagine hearing something and the notes are not in line with the music) anyways so I went to hollywood video and they resurfaced all of them for my for like $5 I was so stoked!

so anyways I was playing GH all weekend just like old times LOL - I was going through getting 100% completetions on all the easy and medium levels... I can't wait for GH aerosmith to come out! I'll be ready!
