Probably, as long as it doesn't compromise the safety of the vehicle.

This doesn't sound legal.

It seems like the only safety part that would be missing would be the third brake light but that's not really required since you have "at least 2 red solid lights emitting 500 ft to the rear of the vehicle" :D (TDOT)

Anyways I wasn't sure if it was legal - I did ask a few cops before I took mine off and they didn't think it was... I also had a compliment from a cop when I got pulled over for speeding when I had the hatch off... it was dead hot and the middle of summer and he just wrote a warning because he thought it looked like a dune buggy... go figure :roll:

This is definately a fake.
I live in the same town in Germany (license plate "C"). And this car definately does not exist.
We discussed this picture also on http://www.mx-3-community.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Green one looks aweful.

A t-top mx3 might work. I cannot photoshop for the life of me, never really got into it. I will not be building another mx3 for quite some time (still in the process with my current one) but for my next project I'm already gathering information on doing alot of things, one of them is strengthening the frame of the car and possibly converting to a t-top if the car will look good with it.
