you do not need to swap any engine harness with the obd2 car all you need do is drop the engine in, plug in the sensors and swap the vaf for one from a 2.5 v6, the only issue that you are going to run into is incorrect vris points. Daninski did the swap and I have talked to others who swapped to the klde and klze with the obd2 setup. The only disadvantage is that you can not chip the obd2 ecm.

You can mega squirt and use MSD window switches. You just have to figure out how to mega suirt as that system uses the cam sensor in the disty and the 95-97 doesn't have a cam sensor in the disty. I think just using an older disty but reversing two of the three wires on the one disty plug will work.
