Also was there any modification required for the rear struts and/or strut mounts?

Well not to rain on your parade but officially you are not the first to have K-Sports , but you are the first to have K-Sports from a Mx-6 . I'm sure I as well as others would appreciate sharing the information how you had these fit , Im especoally curious on the back ? Is that why its 2 different heights ? Is the lower strut mount in the rear the wrong height ?

im guessing that you probably have to drill the hole in the rear strut mounts bigger to fit the ksport shaft through. that would explain why there is that big washer on the rear mounts dont look like the stock ones. just a guess...

i know when i did the AWD swap, the holes in the strut bodie were closer to the strut bodie on the rear struts, so it gave me a positave camber. so i ended up swaping out to the AWD Pro rear struts (and put my Konis in them of course) because the mounting holes in the strut were further away from the strut bodie, putting the camber back to 0 deg.

if that makes sense.

so by putting shorter springs in you can get some of that camber back. thats why some notch the top hole out on the strut or even both. maybe thats what the problem was. just a thought,

but arnt thoes Ksports hight adjustable too, and do they have preload springs on them ( or helper springs)?

LOL, i remember reading someone getting K-sport to use different parts and stuff to make them a set to fit the MX-3....but i never saw that they put them on.

If it makes anyone feel better I have the the 1st MX-3 with an "off the shelf" set of K-sports...no need in spending $1300 like i remember that post saying it was gonna cost to make a set. Even though i never saw anyone with them on the car. Oh well.
Is that why its 2 different heights ?
Umm, no. I have it like that for a specific reason...to drag race. They are adjustable...i can easily lower the back.

Umm nope! The K-sport strut drops right on the OEM MX-3 strut mount. I could have used the OEM washer/nut...but it looks nicer using the K-sport washer and nut.

Sorry i don't come online that much...never got any email to let me know anyone replied to this post.

I'm Not calling you a Liar or anything like that , I just didn't think it would be so simple .
Could you take pictures of all the mounting points (spindles, and mounts ) just to see exactly how everything goes, I was interested in this setup awhile back but it fizzled out .
Thanks for all your help by the way I appreciate it ..

so the .01% modifying u did was just to swap to stock rear mx3 mounts? it definately sounds like a good plan

i wish i could find a shock dyno of ksports tho....

which particular k sport coilover do u have?

couldn't you swap the rear mount to the cusco rear camber plate? instead of the stock one? and wehre do you buy these at? i've never heard of K-sport but if this is a better set up than what I was going to use and it isn't too expensive i'd look into these.. any idea how they compare to AST?
