You've steered this topic towards Fiberglass!
Then talk about Polyurethane then!
Come on!
I wasn't going to get Fiberglass anyway!

"On Lowering and Bodykit Heighths"
not "Fiberglass"
ALL body kits are fiberglass except the stock Mazda J-spec. Even the Mazdaspeed one is fiberglass. It's been discussed before.

In terms of my plans for styling (front bumper specifically):
I am considering either Corksport's simple MazdaSpeed style
I am also considering Pakfeifer's Blitz
Sideskirts and back bumpers I may plan to mismatch...
Come on!
I wasn't going to get Fiberglass anyway!
What the hell are you talking about?

K-Max (Drift sideskirts in these pictures though)

K...what the hell ARE you talking about? New cars don't come "bodykitted".. Just because they look more agressive, it doesn't mean it's a "body kit"...ever seen a car at at dealer advertised as "If you get the GT model, you get leather interior, and a big fat BODY KIT"

i dont' even know what to do with you anymore...........

What I meant by "Bodykitted" was that pretty much all new cars have underbody styling built into them. Take a look at this picture for instance of the latest Mazdas in stock mode. They have, what I should refer to as "Equivalents" of aftermarket bodykits, but straight from the factory... That's why I put "Bodykitted" in quotations...

No, it's not "underbody" styling...

There is no body kit, or anything like it...

It's called: the guys that work for mazda making these cars decided to make the bumpers alittle more stylin'.

Just because a McLaren F1 has a nice body styling, doesn't mean is has a body kit...body kits are custom, stock bumpers aren't..

Thats the kit I just bought. Its got some flex to it. I was worried about the whole shattering fiber glass too since I have a lowered 3. Not sure if that helps but boom. URL

Where can I get this front bumper?
I can't read netherlandish, where this image is from, but it's described as a "Barros" bumper. Is that the same Barros as Chris Barros from Brazil? If so, what is his design doing in Amsterdam?

Someone in Germany (I think his name is Daniel) has copied the Chris Barros design and made a load of them. Hugo, a dutch guy bought one of him. That's his car in the pic. You can find more information (in German) on http://www.mx-3-community.de.

thank you for the explanation. it's great that you, someone from the netherlands, actually found my message and told me. i cannot read german however. would you know how someone from canada can get a hold of that bumper through the internet? are they selling them?

i've seen and have pictures of chris barros' car and that's a really interesting bodykit, especially the slots surrounding the rear wheels. only 2 pictures though, and the one showing the front of his car is smothered in sunglare.

one of my friends works at a dealership. they put civic SI bumpers and skirts on one of the slow civics. they called it a body kit. so yes i have seen a new car advertised with a body kit, even though it was factory components. it's kinda dumb, but they do it. they probably just call it a bodykit because it makes it sound fancy or something.
