Looks really good. If I were to change anything it would have to be the fenders and the front bumper. I would choose a nicer looking front than the over used and ugly invader front. I would make the entire fender larger instead of having that rounded arch look. While the arch does create a flow in a way, visually i think it would look better solid with another piece on the door to accomodate the larger fender, something like that widebody weld mx3 that I saw pics of on here. Again, just my personal opinion. Mad props for all the hard work!

well we started off doing a biger fender, but it ended up looking more like a firebird, so we decided to go for this. this is mostly Dans design, im just helping him lay it all out.

we are building a custom rear valance, and rear flairs also, just waiting on the spacers to actually get them perfect. over all im pretty happy with it. we are using the FX kit because that what he had on his car already, and he likes that style so we are changing it just a little but not too much.

the head lights took a decent amount of cutting to make them fit. i have to add a few braces but all in all they went in nicely. after we got them in the corner only stuck out past the oem fender about 1/2". but its definatly comming along. the finnish date is set for the weekend before the MX-west trip. so we will have finnished pics then. and the stripes are definatly going.

thanks for the imput

Glad everyone likes it. It has been a ton of work, but it will be worth it. We're quite a bit over budget time-wise so we're having to cut some things out which means we won't have all the hp till end of summer rather than this build.

I love that bumper cover! You guys are crazy for not liking it. :)

I love the stripes too! The ones down the middle anyway. I'm trying to draw a little less attention to it on the street so we won't be putting those back on.

well we are probably not going to make the MX-west trip with the car. but we will have it done probably by mid next month. we have just rin into a few snags that are taking way too much time. the lambo doors are a pain in the a--. and we made the mold for the one piece front end, and will be casting it this week. and almost done designing the rear cover and quarters. but no updated pics yet, give us about 2 weeks. and we will get some more up.

no its the mounting. i have to weld on new supports for the door, and onto the chassis. its kind of a pain, but we will get it done. they are some of the nicest hinges i have ever seen. heavy as hell, but are a nice ball berring hinge, and they are cast, once we get them installed we will take pics.

WELL

i regret to say after many setbacks with purchases that didnt workout. he has since decided to just part the car out.

its very sad and im very dissapointed, as we worked on it for the majority of the summer. and i could finnish it within a month or two. but its not my car and not my money, and hes really tied up in his work rite now and doesent have th etime to finnish it. and he does have a Z4 to kick around.

so we are selling just about everything that we had for the project.

so if anyone wants a BPT with ARP head studs, new head gaskes, water pump, timming belt. let me know any reasionable offer wont be turned down.

GC's for sale too!
