Needless to say all those arent needed, but Ive been working on this close to 3 years now.

This doesnt include the amp, speakers, nor cables.

Also keep in mind, several years of trial and error to tweak and get the bugs out.

The nice thing about CarPC's if that you can configure it as you want, depending on what you want. You could literally bgo buy a used Pentium 3 computer (of of the Dell slim Optiplex PC's) for cheap, buy an LCD monitor and an A/C inverter and there you go. (This is similar how I started out and built on). Than you can build on to it from there. Add functionality as you see fit and even upgrade to a small form-factor pc later on, or build your own.
