Twitchy check engine light

egr sensor, ihave the same problem, its an electrical problem, usually not the acutual vavle.

its the little black thing the wire plugs into. the sensor is fuct. if it can still run at higher rpm and stales when it goes around 1.2, its the egr sensor.

We (the other members) have been trying to tell you the problem.
OXYGEN SENSORS. I've had the same problem.
Try this next time the check engine light comes on. Let off on the gas completly for a couple of seconds. if the light goes off there is a high probability that one or both oxygen sensors is not responding well.
The bonus is, once you replace the sensors your gas mileage should get better.

What you are trying to tell me is wrong. The o2 sensors...they are fine.
It was the egr valve all along. I took it off, cleaned it out with some good ol' carb cleaner, and now eveything is fine. Must have been some carbon buildup causing it to stick or work sluggishly.
Glad I didn't spend a bunch of $$$ on new o2 sensors....
