Shawn i think your question is can KLZE piston's be put in a KLDE

the answer is No! Sorry clearance issues.

Flightless, though can be found flying firstclass
Poor eyesight, though can spot a good pub at 100yards.

uhh....where do you get your information?

why would there be clearance issues? the stroke is identical, the camshaft lift is probably less on the KL01 cams, so how would that make the pistons contact the valves?

I know of MANY probetalk guys running KLZE Pistons in their KLDE engines with no issues.

Humbly eat's Crow, my mistake was calculating on the displacement
of the piston dish
