Fitting Civic Projectors (pictures)

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

I'm starting to think these civic headlights are going to spread as fast as the altezzas :D

Alright well as promised here are the pictures of how we've "butchered" the housing so far. Keep in mind they wont look so bad once the edges are smoothed out and we seal them.
:) And will somone please go vote on my cardomain page?!? :p I'll keep you guys posted as i keep working and taking more pictures. :2thumbsup:

Awesome job man. Great pictures. I hope to be getting some. Just askin an opinion from you guys are these lights on ebay the same as those? Because I was wondering on my silver car with chrome altezzas that the chrome housing might look better than the black. Do you guys think it would look alright?

Yes those are the 01-03 Civic Projectors. But those are much more expensive then Tomsmotorsports. Check that site out its $129USD shipped.

IOKs question was not answered and i am also wondering why!!!

one more thing.. why do all ppl use 01-03 lights?.. when i see the pics.. i feel that 96-00 civic lights seem to fit better...

anyone?

I think that was the question he was referring to , someone did do the 96-00 civic mod on a car named Barney or Elmo a couple of years ago and reshaped the fenders and bumper rather than the headlight for fitment .

nice work on projectors, maybe you could do more for other members?

here is a pic of Barney with the 96-00 Honda civic lights , in my opinion they look to big and out of proportion to the mx-3's body when cutting only the fenders and bumper ... rather than the cutting the headlight assembly itself for fitment

something about the angle those lights are make them look like supra lights.
