Depends on what you want to accomplish by calling him. The first time you call, he might pick up, or someone else who lives there, but as soon as he gets your number on caller ID, he probably wont pick up again. Your best bet is probably to keep calling the detective until he gives you some information. However it usually takes an act of congress to get a Det. to return your phone calls. But give the number a call if you think its his. If you arent sure, PM me or email me and i can probably verify it for you. What has the detective told you so far about this case? Do you still want the engine? or just your money back?

The detective has NEVER called me-- thats the problem.

I really need the engine-- but at this point I will take either the engine OR my money back so I can start looking for another one.

So this morning I get an email from the girl who claims to be his girlfriend.

She says that Dave shattered his pelvis in a wreck a few days ago and has been in hte hospital.

She also says that his dad would be taking care of shipping the engine now.


So, I continue to wait...

Well..

I get an email early this morning saying that Dave's dad took the engine to the shipping yard and has dropped it off.

He provided a tracking number as well.

When I checked with AAACooper-- it is valid and I should get it on Monday.

I will let everyone know when I get it.

As to how I got his GF's Email, she emailed me when Dave Computer crashed to give me updates/excuses as to why it wasnt shipped yet.

SIX MONTHS LATER.....

Well, I finally got my engine last Monday and it was in decent shape.

He sent the axles, MAF sensor, and clutch disc as promised as well.

I will begin tearing it down & cleaning it up in the next few weeks.

Everything is over, I finally got it.

Thanks everyone for your help/letting me vent.
