Yeah i was sure those numebrs did not come off of a 1.6 there to high. Although i was at the track and a friend of mine MIGHT have gotten a video. Not sure though.

The announcer had a hayday with the starter thing though. IF the driver didnt keep killing it ;)

those numbers arent to high for a 1.6, if someone would just do a decent setup for the motor.that starter issue was a brand new problem that came up that day, on top of that this is still a trial and error stage for my car, with every mod that gets added the car needs to be tuned different, getting the car to idle after a burnout with 1000cc injectors isnt that easy. and keep in mind that was the 1st time i drove the car at the track. no matter how much the car died on me that doesnt change the 12.1 pass i had,this is drag racing guy and the only things that count are the times.

:roll:

Personally i dont feel like arguing about it, for a 1.6 for that psi that would likely be a hard number to achive, its not impossible. As for 1kcc injectors. For that level of money i would just use two sets. Then again i am a odd person though.

Oh wait were talking about drag racing, sorry i forgot, oh wait what are we arguing about anyways?

My results:

11 runs at sparta. My 1st time to the track with my mx3.

Best run of
14.788
reaction = .773
1/8th = 9.6814
1/4 14.788
mph = 95.57

My best reaction was .645
Best mph: 95.73

My Setup:
92 mx3, klze, klze ecu, ss clutch line, banjo bolt, fuel pressure regulator, cut/welded straight neck ze manifold, ze throttle body, air intake, clutch masters stage1, 17 tsw evo's, khumho, lowered h&r springs. ractive muffler. stock exhaust to muffler. 280,000 km dead engine mounts.

Not to bad for my 1st time out, but I was hoping for a 14.3 or so.

Only things I can think of to go quicker are :

1. Not to use my 17" rims (heavy).
2. Use stock 15 rims (lighter)
3. New air filter
4. Fuel pressure gauge so I know what my regulator is set at. (any advice on pressure).
5. Put on my headers
6. High flow cat, better piping
