Re: klze turbo kit group buy
sounds very interesting. Is this going to be a single turbo setup? What kind of turbo will it use? A turbo kl-ze would be rad! ![Driver :driver:](./images/smilies/driver.gif)

yes it will be single turbo setup.
Re: klze turbo kit group buy
Somewhat interested as well, all depends on the price and the timing of this!

Re: klze turbo kit group buy
Could you update us on what is included and a price ballpark. Also are we using intercoolers or not? Does it come with any type of fuel management? (I'd rather it be just a turbo, header, piping, and bent for some type of common GOOD brand intrecooler, standard BOV placement and fitting, but not include the BOV) A standard kit will allow for slight customization of parts and brands.

Re: klze turbo kit group buy
Hi all just to keep you all updated my target goal is to be around $2000 this includes
-stainless steel mandrel bent piping
-turbo (t3) / wastegate etc...(more exact specs soon)
-intercooler
It is being designed so the air conditioning unit stays
I have ac and would not like to be without it.
In terms of fuel injectors etc.. your stock injectors will be sufficient to run upto 5 psi.
5 psi is safe to run as a daily driver and will put mega horse in as its 10.1 compression to start
any more than 5 psi your engine will be needing a rebuild in a year or less.
If you plan on going to more than 5psi here is your shopping list its breif if you need more details email me and ill fill you in proper.
stage 1
-bigger injectors
-apexi 2ng gen afc with knock sensor (prevents the predetonation from occuring and you a new engine sooner)
stage 2 (after you have raped your engine)
-new forged internals for manufactured for high boost
anyhow ill keep you all updated.

Re: klze turbo kit group buy
in terms of fitting the k8 .. the k8 block is quite similar to the klze so it should fit fine.
I cannot however give you a solid statement on how much boost to run on that engine safely.
the compression is less so you will have to put more psi to get the hp your after.
You would need some bigger injectors and an apexi gen 2 to get the results your after on the lower compression engine to start. If your just looking for a quick kick of power get a wet nos kit and run a 75 shot
the k8 likes it hehehehe..
A klze will give you a significant boost in power to your k8 and will cost only $1200 canadian which is less than the proposed target price of this kit.
Hope that answers your question and then some![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
