Ya you don't want to shave them you want to resurface them, then you'll be in good shape.

I shift at 8k every day! LOL wow that is high. I don't think i've brought mine over 7500. Man I always feel sorry for people who break stuff in the burnout box. That would be embarrasing!

How much difference would there be if I put a klde mx-6 ecu in with the mx-3 mass air flow metre what would that do powerwise compaired to the mx-3 ecu and a domestic mx-6 or millenia mass air flow. Which would be best for power and fuel economy. I cannot find a klze ecu. More specifically the kl31.

Hey that ecu you found sold before i could get it but i found one but it is a kl46. I don't know what kind of car it is from or how well it will work for this engine.

No its either get a kl31 or kl36 ecu. Or use a klde vaf with you stock ecu. If you are in a hurry just get that klde vaf i gave you the link for and run your car that way till you find a klze ecu.

if the kl46 is a klde ecu then renewed auto in calgary is trying to screw me over. I have heard bad things about them but if this is a klde ecu then the rumours must be true because i just got an email saying it is from a japanese klze motor. Thanks for the heads up

This is the information he gave me about where the ecu came from:

1ZVTB chassis and a KL-ZE engine

I realize i need a kl31 or 36 ecu but i am curious about the origin of this engine

Ok i found out that the ecu is from a ford probe GT. I am assuming that they do not make ford probes with the klze engine in japan. If anybody has any more information please keep me informed

Its quite possible that ecu came from an engine that was shipped in from Japan because ford sent a bunch of probes over there with a klde engine in it. My guess would be that it came from a probe. Most importers think that because its a 2.5L engine that came from japan that its automatically klze, which is not true.
