I see 5.0 Mustangs running 10s with 500hp and a lot of torque but the bad thing is that is the highest amount of HP the 5.0s could handle before the engine blows. As for the 4.6s, I seen them handle 900hp.
You know that the Nissan skyline is a straight 2.6 litre 6 sylinder wich they (with 1 turbo) are able to get above 1000hp from? :)

dude.. get the car first. from what i found right after buying mine (v6) is that its pretty quick stock! so cruise around a while until you feel like more power is necessary.. cuz u will be able to beat most of the other cars at your high school already. :D and another thing.. if or when you do a swap (like klze), use the power wisely, cuz it can tend to get you tickets faster than you would like ;) good luck mang
