anyways one things for sure is that my ze have kl31-1O1 and kl31-1A1 stamped on the heads..not sure about the a-spec 2.5 tho

ze has KL-31 101 and KL 31 1A1 stamped on the heads. <p>Curt wonders why people even respond , yet he has the most responses on this post, none of which included the answer. He also had one poste which was extremely mature!

just so you all know<p>the safest place to order your engines from is <p>allmaz in melbourne australia.... they have a bunch of ZEs in stock ive seen them all and bought one before i sold my car and came back to canada...<p>it might take a little longer to ship but well worth it no hassles and very reputable company.

i betcha shipping is nuts, i dont know what differences they're currency fro New Zeland, but i got a quote for a door pannel, and shipping was $350cdn

As far as head codes go shoudlnt they read as kl-31-1a1 and kl-31-101. The trottle body has code KL31 and there is a Japanese tag on the timing cover as well as the lrge intkae ports and huge intake manifold that couldnt be used. Would than not classify it as a KLZE. Also no EGR on ehaust manifold it came with. I also heard that a true KLZE only came in an automatic.

I'm afraid to answer this in case you're just kidding.

ok ok i know its stupid but i'm knew to this, i purchased an engine and was told its the kf-ze just wanted to know

also it has a japanese bar-code on the timing belt cover thats read kl-01

K8 is a 1.8l aspec OEM engine. I don't know if the KF-ZE uses K8 heads...someone else probably does. But a K8 is what the MX3 V6 comes ith originally.
