Junior HS year here too. I was homeschooled at the time. I was working in my room when I heard my mom yell. I ran in to see the replays of the first plane and the live footage of the second. Felt like a dream...

I was in art class, senior year, working on a painting of my ferret (dont ask) and the teacher from the next room came in and turned the tv on and said that 2 planes had just hit the twin towers, the class just kinda sat there stunned. Then when i went to second period i asked my teacher if we could watch the news and he said no, so we did algebra while the worst attack in our nations history unfolded. Then the assistant principal made an announcement over the intercom and then parents started calling and telling their kids to come home. I had been debating for a few months about enlisting, so i went straight to my recruiters office to sign my papers and everything with about 4 other friends of mine who also signed up. 3 marines, 2 army. My enlistment didnt go through, but theirs did, they shipped out and i havent heard from any of them since the march on baghdad.

I had just gone into work. The first words I hear are about a bombing. Went immediately to the TV and saw the replay of the second hit and the first hits effects. We were stunned, wondering why, but had to get to work. I delivered at the time, so listened to the radio the entire day. Couldn't believe the gas price raping that insued in this $hi!!y little town. Even more dismayed when I heard it was happening everywhere. Why?? Why follow the worst tragedy to occur on American soil with such actions?? I went to the only place in town that didn't hike prices and filled er up, I still go there. I feel they were the truest business people in the area. I feel for those who lost loved ones in that incident, but wonder why we still haven't got to those who were responsible....
