If they were to leagalize pot the quality would go through the roof! Just think, pot would have to meet FDA regulations and couldn't be cut with the crap that so many dealers put in their weed. I think they should leagalize it and tax the hell out of it, just think of how much crime would be prevented and how much money the government would make-everybody wins. I remember before I turned 21 it was easier for me to get weed than it was to get alcohol, if people want to smoke they are going to weather it is legal or not. I don't smoke any more because last time I did I thought my tounge was boiling and that all these dogs were trying to kill me. If you aren't hurting anyone you should be allowed to smoke in peace, I've never seen anyone get high and belligerant at the same time which is more than I can say about getting drunk.

Good luck with that.

Re: Mary jane meet?
Pot legalization....
PROS:
1. Can have Tobacco companies supply it and have it on every convenience store shelf thus tax the sh*t out of it and lower other taxes.
2. Less people clogging up our justice system over smoking a joint.
3. Those damn hippies will shut up.
CONS:
1. More hippies
2. Having to look at a 12 mile long "smoke" shelf when you go to the store.
3. Kids asking me to buy them a pack everytime I go into a store.

Re: Mary jane meet?
Funny how the US is one of the only countries that has Marijuana as illegal and we have the highest crime rate.....I personally think alcohol is the "gateway drug" I am in the process of getting my Medicinal License here in Oregon due to chronic pain from numerous car accidents. I am a recreational smoker and still hold down a 40+ hour job and have cash in the bank. I guess its like any "habit", if you let it run your life it will take over everything and destroy your life. Thats my 2 cents.
