Any more updates on this Aaron?
That colour looks fantastic, all the parts you've got combine really really well - you've put my favourite front bar, spoiler and side skirts together & it looks sweet as... Those rims look awesome, too, and the whole car sits really well - great work, mate... having trouble not being jealous ;)

AaronTietje wrote:Hey, thanks guys. I actually want to get 195 45 16's for the front rather than the 205 40 16's. I haven't found that size avalable in Toyo proxies yet tho....
why such small tires? 195/45/16 is like an inch smaller then stock 205/55/15...

I have been slowly collecting parts to put on the Mx3 and happened to stumbled across a nasty rotted out Probe GT...............with 69k mi. on the engine, a turbo, megasquirt, and LSD trans.

I will be selling almost everything off the GT (including engine and turbo) and should end up with a very cheap LSD transmission when all is said and done. :D

The shinny spot in the middle of the first pic is the straight through differential.

Some of my new parts include ELM joints, bushings, tie rods, engine mounts, hubs, bearings, and anodized purple lug nuts. :freak:

And here's a rear shot of the Probe.

Plenty of copper slip on them anodized lug nuts.. have heard they like to seize on being alu. an all

you will need them on a 8J low offset rim to clear the fenders, unless you run silly amounts of -camber.

Loving those rose jointed tie rods :D

Good Stuff !

Do those calipers clear the wheels ?
When I look at your pictures there isn't much space left.

Yah they do. I need to get a beater pic for you all :? . The rims pull out from the center of the rim before diving back at the lip-thus creating a caliper space.

Well, it's been a while...... I am still continuing to accumulate parts.

Big brake set up in now complete except plumbing and fabbing up brackets.
My Seat problem has also been solved.

Here's me grinning like a kid in my new Sparcos. Wow the corsas are nice and tight and super comfortable for a molded bucket.

You have done so much work on this car! From painting to dash swapping... Whew! No wonder it was getting monotonous!
I performed the dash swap on miessau's car. he had the brown interior (yuck). Lots of cutting, cursing... but did it look good when it was done, yeah!
Gonna keep an eye on your build!

Thanks guys, my big motivation now is to get the thing running to have some fun with it this year. I'm hoping to go to the opening day at Watkins Glenn race track. (just over the hills from me.)

I will still have body work this summer as it is getting another body spray and final clear. I will also be installing a custom carbon roof, and hopefully getting my lsd in. However, all this "stuff" is secondary to me driving it.

Yah, they are used. I snagged them from ebay for 800. That's expensive but that's the price for one of them new  .

They look like they should clean up very well. I'm also thinking about doing a bit of custom paint to the seat backs as well....something very mild like a flat\clear graphic.
