I doubt you guys will have heard of it over in the States (I'm impressed if you have), but for me it has to be the Ford RS200 Evo.

A rally homologation special - mid engine 2.1 litre turbo 16v, 4wd and in the correct state of tune, capable of 650bhp and 0-60mph in 2.1 seconds...

If we are gonna go that route then i have been checking the tvr speed 12 http://www.rapidcars.com/speed12specs.php for the longest time and if i was a millionaire then this would be my first buy. I know alot of people wont like the way it looks (i really like the back bumper of it it kinda looks like the rx-7 bumper) but i think it is the sweetest looking car i have ever seen. Not to mention the specs on it.

Hate to rain on your parade, but the Speed 12 never made production. They built 2 prototypes, but when the (then) owner of TVR Peter Wheeler took one home for the weekend, he declared that the Speed 12 'Would kill people', and the road car version was shelved. The only Speed 12's produced were turned into racers for the British GT class, and they were restricted to 600bhp.

The price quoted was the estimated retail cost quoted before the decision was made to scrap it.

My point is based on the subject of the thread, Favourite Cars. I guess I saw it a bit differently, cause it is really stupid, in my opinion to say thay you love the XXX car, when you;ve never driven it. You could get in it and find out it drives like a heap of sand is in the transmission.

If the question being asked is, what is your favourite car based on looks, or based on performance statistics, then I would understand if people said the Skyline. (If of course that is what turns your crank.)

Personally, I would probably go for the last generation of RX-7, but then again, I have not driven one, so my opinion is based solely on looks, and specs.
See im lucky my out of my list the only car i havnt driven is the Tommy Kiara car.

Ive driven 3 different skylines, 2 evos, 2 STIS never a 22B,Rx7 and a M3 in Melbourne Australia
so that is why my list is comprised of cars you can own in the USA and can drive if your shopping in the usa in the 35-50k price range.
Canada still sucks for their car regulations
