Hey there, I am planning on doing the BPT swap this winter. I am looking for someone who is fairly intelligent with the BPT swap and can answer some questions for me. I've been wanting to do the write up on the haltech, I just havent got around to it lately. I know there's several, and I'm sure more people that want to run the Haltech with there BP-Ts. I'm working on it though, hang-on.

whats the difference in swappin the bpt into a 92-93?

The only major difference is that the 92-93 cars had a cable driven speedometer. The 94's had an electronic gear, so YOU could swap to the Protege drivetrain without any hassle. The Proteges also used the cable driven gears. All you have to do is swap the Mx-3's F series gear for the G series speedo gear and your good to go.

The 92-93's also had an external coil, the later did not. You should be upgrading coil's anyway, so just take the old coil out and in with the new ignition setup (MSD,CRANE,etc.).

That should be it...
