Electric Turbo?
I have seen lately that you can buy a electric fan that fit right behind the air flow and it works like a turbo. Has anyone tried this? If so did you see a diffrence? You can see these on Ebay.
Re: Electric Turbo?
Its a gimmick and it doesn't work, in fact there have been cases where the fan blades have broken off and destroyed engines. There was actually a guy on this board who had one a while back and it caused him to lose horsepower because it was blocking airflow. If you do a search you can find more info about it but the bottom line is don't buy one.

Re: Electric Turbo?
there are supposed to be some really expensive ones >$300 that might work. supposedly a guy on the escort message board saw one of these turned on when it wasn't connected to an engine and it could hover or something. those ones might help but probably not too much.<p>i think the sight was electricsupercharger.com or something like that.
