Just took a look at mine. There is a phillip's head (screw?) at the bottom ov the sensor. take that out and the sensor will come out, in theory (never had to deal with it). if that doesn't work, remove the rear seat (top and bottom) then pull the trim panel. There should be access to the harness that way.
You could always spray it with WD40 and hit it a few times to work the lubricant in

. Although, WD40 is pretty much just fish oil or something and may cause the plastic to swell, which would make it stick.
I would just pull one from a junkyard and see how it comes out. If I didn't break it in the process, I would install the "new" one in my car and call it good. Hope this helps.
