Ok, I've installed 2 new ball joints.
But left is different from right.
In one of them the grease is coming out through a small hole in the bottom.
I don't understand.

Re: Greasing ball joints
How come than that only 1 side has that hole ?
So left has 2 holes (1 with a plug), right has 1 hole (with a plug).

Re: Greasing ball joints
There should've been zerk fitting on there, did you tap/install those zerks yourself or were they already there?
If anything, install another zerk fitting there, that hole is tapped right?

Re: Greasing ball joints
It was a manufacturing error. It should have only had the 1 grease fitting on the side

Re: Greasing ball joints
That looks like a tie rod end to me, bit different than a ball joint.mars wrote:I changed mine 3 weeks ago, new ball joints had either no plugs !
