well after a year of not doing anything to the car due to it's awful floor and rusted rails, I have found a donor car not too far from here and hopefully she's going to sell me her carbon fiber hood that was on the car! let's hope for the best I'll be swapping my ZE in an empty RS shell and I'll try and put the damn moonroof on it from my car. A little welding myight be necessary but its for the greater good, does anyone have any idea if doing the rear disc swap is a pain or if it isnt that bad? I ahvent looking in the forums yet, I just want a quick answer.

The rear disk swap will be much easier than putting the roof in. 8)

Turns out the shell was a bummer, 4 hour drive just to get there and see the inner rockers filled with monofoam... that was nice. But I managed to get the CF hood. I got family going down to florida so if anyone sees a good shaped mx-3 in florida under 1k let me know!

Well I've been on hold with my car for a while now since the bottom is rusted out but i managed to fix this situation! Here's the new beast prepped up to go from the seller straight to the bodyshop! I'm going to transfer a couple things from my other mx-3 to this one and I'll have a couple things to sell. I'll keep you up to date!

and then the body work...
Image
refurbished the mags that came with the car(they actually came out badass eheheh
Image
painted engine bay ( i know the engine wasnt removed but it wasnt part of the plan, it just makes the whole thing nicer..
Image
door interiors...they looked nice until i cleaned them, turns out they had some rust on it but nothing major... sandblasted everything rusty, applied a primer and a sealant and VOILA, brand new doors without rust on them!

and for now, thats my final update as it's sitting as it is on this picture!

Nice work on the strut tower. Also, great carbon hood-that's one of my favorites.
