Daniel's Silverstone '97 EDM Mx-3 1.6
Hello Mx-3 owners of the world! This is my '97 B6 Mx-3, I bought it April 2013, and since them I've done some minor modifications... Some of you may have seen it in the Facebook group.
When I bought it: Already came with the roof painted black and leather seats
My first upgrade: Reverse Glow Gauges:
I broke the gas gauge while installing them
But later I bought a new one and finally got everything working fine lol
Another upgrade: A friend of mine crashed his car and was selling some parts... So I got this german Webasto aftermarket sunroof pretty cheap... I really liked the result
My aftermarket parking sensors can be seen it this last picture as well... I know most people hate them, but I my father installed them as gift, and I think they're pretty useful...
A friend of mine found this NOS owner's guide while he was in the US. I know mine is '97 EDM, but this one is just fine, since the lady who first owned my car lost the original one. A original EDM USED one was costing like US$70, and I got this new one for about US$10...
Another upgrade:
Got some projector headlights and altezzas. Also installed a MS inspired replica bumper. It has some differences to the actual Mazdaspeed one, like the foglights area and upper grille, but I like the result.
EZ Lip:
Small upgrade: Precidia logo!
Engine Bay:
Another Interior pic:
Finally a new set of rims:
TSW Kyalami, 17" 205/40 tires
Yellow 3000k Fog Lights:
Just needs lowering now!
Plans for the future: maybe some boost!
That's all folks!
Apologize for bad english
Greetings from Brazil!

What's the actual name for the knock-off bumper? I like the foglight holes better than the mazdaspeed ones.
Very nice car btw!

Thanks! This bumper is made by a company called Personal Parts, we call it just Mazdaspeed Replica.Savin wrote:What's the actual name for the knock-off bumper? I like the foglight holes better than the mazdaspeed ones.

I wish I could import an authentic MS, or at least a Corksport replica, but taxes and shipping are too expensive here.
Thanks bro!kulluminati777 wrote: VERY CLEAN. this car looks dope. I love the ring too

Nice car very clean and classy looking. If your engine is running nice then why not go for some suspension mods first before causing yourself grief trying to turbo the car.

Thank you!Caleb T wrote:Great looking car! Keep up the good work, and welcome!
Thank you! The engine is running nice, but I wish it had a little more power, especially in the low rpm range... I've been looking for some suspension mods as well, nothing major, since this car is my daily driver.Daninski wrote:Nice car very clean and classy looking. Now I'm searching for some parts too (like every Mx-3 owner, lol):
- Rear Mudguards
- Double stack armrest
- SS Sills (I really want the Mx-3 ones, but as they're very rare, the more common Eunos ones will be fine lol)
Picture I took yesterday:
And some pictures of our last local meeting (September 2013):
My car is the dirtiest one, rainy day + 200km in a bad road

I know that sounds ridiculous... Anyway, the lip is getting pretty damaged, even with the car sitting that high the lip touches the ground almost every time a go into a driveway ramp or even at some hills. I'll upload a picture later.
