You can cut the valve out and use it on your new hose, that's what I did.

As for idle, I'm sure with the new IM there has to be a leak or something uncapped. Did you replace all silicone hoses, check the vacuum chambers weren't cracked etc?

Just used the old piece, works fine now.

Yeah its all new and capped.

But I replaced the coolant sensor and that did help a lot.

Still not how it's supposed to be i guess: rev - 5000, catches at 900/1000 rpm raises to 1100rpm drops to 600-700. Steady.

But at least that better than drops to almost stalling to climbing back to 600-700.

can you take a pic of your engine bay?
Also, how about the VRIS chambers underneath the intake manifold? They like to break, that could be a vacuum leak.
