Re: Seat brackets
None that I have ever seen... I believe Sleeper6 and AaronTietje have come up with bracket solutions in recent months.
I am working on a fairly universal bracket project right now, intending to swap between Mazda3 and stock seats, as the Mazda3 seats are more comfortable for long drives.
It's a slow project, I move at the pace of an inebriated snail when building most things...

Re: Seat brackets
I just made my own this weekend... Cost me less than 10 bucks and some fabrication time. But the FD bucket fits nice. I will need to lower the rear a bit more but other than that it sits about as high as the 92-93 buckets.

Re: Seat brackets
Fine Fine... I snapped a couple quick ones this morning.

My welds are OK I am not really that worried about them as long as they are strong. the base of the RX bucket is about 6.5" narrower than either MX seat. As I mentioned I need to do some more work to it, like lower the rear more and slide it back some. It sits level which is what mattered. I was in a hurry, my 94' busted a spring and mice had chewed the foam in the base so it was pretty uncomfortable. I drilled out all of the OE mounting points off of the OE rails and used them with 1/8" plate mild steel to weld the rails to.

Re: Seat brackets
the FD seat fits really well in there, being smaller than the 92-93's it is far more of a sport bucket. It has no springs inside and is a fiberglass shell so it is lighter even. I am going to play with it more, going to slide the rail back further, and drop the rear down about 1.5-2", but this will eventually go into the RS, but need to find a mate to this near mint suede bucket...

Re: Seat brackets
Josh, these look far more relaxed in the shoulder area. Definitely appeals to me, as that is the only point of discomfort I found with stock seats!

Re: Seat brackets
These are awesome. So much more comfortable than either sets I have the 92's and the 94's. They feel great in the shoulder area, the lower lumbar also. the rails are just kind of tricky is all, but now that I have done it the other side will be cake. They are small in comparison to the 92's and 94's, especially in the base, but that is only because I am kind of a bigger guy. They feel just as good as a standard sparco bucket IMO, and a little more comfortable.
