FS: Seized K8 for rebuild or parts

My engine seized due to lack of oil last week thursday. It was consuming oil but there weren't any of the telltale signs of oil consumption. Anyway I'm selling my k8 because I need money for the ze swap. I'd like to sell the engine as a whole but if there is enough demand I will part it out. The engine has 109K on it when it died. I'm not sure how much this is worth so just make an offer. Any contribution you can make to the ZE fund would be greatly appreciated. Email me at n3street@wmich.edu. AIM: Projekmx3

O well looks like i'm gonna have to get a second job. It was worth a try thanks everyone for your help. The mx3 will return stronger and faster.

Block itself is hosed...

Save the other parts since you might need some of them (distributor etc) to do a swap.. but once it's done you'll have some spare stuff you can sell off..
{sigh} Time to move on

save the back power steering pump bracket too, i needed mine from my K8

If you want to ditch the engine, see if Western has an auto center. I know when I was at Central, they had a auto shop and some of the students did tear down and rebuilds on broken engines.
