Well, hello.
It seems very strange to me that I saw you on FaceCrack first, since I used to be on here everyday, and welcomed new member for years :-)
Anyway, I look forward to meeting you. I have a lot more to do to my car, and was thinking about doing it with Blake down there. Maybe we could get a work meet together.
I like your enthusiasm.. but don't let Blake get you into trouble. You know what I'm talkin' bout Blake ;-)
BY the way, 200hp will be plenty, believe me. If you're as good as Blake says, you can drive my car, and see what it feels like.

*Raises hand*

Jesse,
She's every bit as enthusiastic as I have been, and I'm having a hard time slowing her down!
My new job has me working graveyard shifts 4 days a week, so I'm up for some wrench time whenever you are free!

I have to come up with a few more things to get my car roadworthy again, but it's VERY close. I need extended lug studs, a wheel-bearing, 2 tires, and an alignment. :welder:

Thanks guys! I'm not sure I'm quite as good as Blake says I am. I've only been driving a manual for 3 weeks haha. I'm absolutely down for a work meet though, anything to learn new things about my car!
I look forward to meet you as well! Also, hell yes I would LOVE to drive your car and get a feel for 200hp!! :)

oh, and for whoever it was that asked, yes boyfriend = MrMazda92 :)

@MaxMax3 - My daughter got her driver's license in a Raspberry Metallic (don't wanna start THAT controversy anymore) GS-SE with a KLZE. She liked the car so much she's just about to be on her second one - ask Blake - he's been following....

She drove the "new" one last week with the 1.8L and she had more trouble due to the reduced torque. The KLZE is VERY forgiving because you can make lot's of shifting mistakes and the torque gets you through it. So, if you are successful at the 1.8L, then no issue with the ZE - uh - unless you have a habitual issue with the revised, higher acceleration.
1993 GS SE - "slow" (Stock) - SOLD
1993 GS SE - "fast" (Curved neck KLZE, OBX headers, custom 2.5" exhaust, KL36 ECU, Exedy Probe GT clutch, KL36 LSD - the real one, Lantis Type R lefthand halfshaft - unfortunately worth mentioning)- SOLD

1993 GS SE - acquired 4/28/2013, SOLD February 28, 2015

1985 RX-7 GSL-SE - SOLD
2003 VW GTI 1.8T
2009 Mazda5 Grand Touring

Me first, then we'll swap yours!

Jesse's car is customized to his liking, so it'll be an interesting experience for her :)
I haven't driven it previously, but I imagine he has adjusted the clutch pedal travel to complement his driving style, and I know that his car carries more torque than a typical KL.

Can't wait to see this :D

aw, that's really sad! I love the color. When I have the money I plan on getting a paint job. It needs it pretty badly!

I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of the color but my girlfriend likes it, so I would like to go back to stock color at some point.

A lot of people aren't very fond of it. I like it because how many metallic raspberry cars do you see? I love these cars in red and I would love to own a red one someday, but everybody has red cars and I like being different! haha
