Haha, just had a crazy idea for those of us hardcore enough to try it!

A few of us run full solid motor mount setups, correct?

Here's some multi-purpose thinking, make a bar that mounts both to your strut towers and your intake manifold. If your engine already has zero, or next to zero rocking to it, then it'd help to stiffen both the engine AND the strut towers.
I haven't seen it elsewhere, but I imagine it would work decently well, but ONLY for those with solid mounts on all points.

We need to have someone with fabrication experience build a custom one and he needs to have the car for a bit to measure and fit. Their is no easy way around it :(

Alot of race cars use solid mounts but they dont care about vibrations. I'd be worried about resonance if you used solid mounts and tied into a strut bar, the right rpm would shake the crap out of you and the car.

Alright, it's official, I want to own the first MX-3 tractor. :freak:

It just occurred to me... You guys know those trailer type plows? Barry... You're selling an MX-3 tow package right? We could make this happen for real!!

I have solid motor mounts, and a torque brace that mounts to the strut tower that does exactly what MrMazda is describing. I idle at about 500rpm, and it only vibrates a little when warming up. Of course, I have a ridiculously well balanced bottom end.
