Just a quick question.
How should the katalysator be mounted.
The side with the holes should be pointing towards the ground.
Than the connection sides have a angled side and a straight side.
What one goes where ?
Angled towards front of the car or rear?

Re: Katalysator
... A picture would help. I was under the impression they were reversible. Are the flanges factory welded or does it look like an exhaust shop did it?

Re: Katalysator
Well, there is an arrow on the katalysator. But if it points towards the front or back ? I don't know.
My exhaust is welded by a shop. Now I have the pacesetters that need to be adjusted, and I want the possibility again to have a katalyst instead of a testpipe.
Anybody who can help me out with this ?

I got a little confused by the title but realize you're talking about what a North American would say catalytic converter. I too assumed they would flow in either direction, but if you have an arrow on it you should assume it is pointing in direction of normal exhaust flow. So arrow should point toward the back.

Not all catalytic converters flow in both directions... Good catalytic converters are typically directional..
If it has an arrow on it then it should be point in the direction of normal exhaust flow...
